As a mentor, you play a pivotal role in shaping the future of FEI by nurturing a vibrant, knowledgeable, and dynamic membership that will lead the organization and the financial industry towards continued excellence and innovation.
All mentors must be members of Financial Executives International Canada. It is imperative that potential mentors maintain an active and good-standing membership with FEI, a testament to their alignment with the organization’s values and professional benchmarks.
Mentors should have a demonstrable commitment to mentorship. Whether it’s a history of mentorship or a clear zeal for fostering the next generation.
Given the significance of nurturing long-term mentorship relationships, mentors are required to commit to a two-year term with the Mentor Advantage Program. This duration ensures consistent guidance, promoting the optimal professional growth of program participants.
Active engagement is essential. Mentors are expected to allocate appropriate time and effort to counsel, guide, and support their program participants throughout the program’s duration.
Contribute to the advancement of financial professionals and make a meaningful contribution to the future of finance leadership and FEI.
Becoming a mentor and sharing your knowledge and experience with future leaders reaffirms and enhances your dedication to growth, both professional and personal. Mentoring helps to elevate the stature of the mentor and their organization. Demonstrate your values, culture, and expertise directly to future finance leaders.
Connect, converse, and forge valuable relationships.
Program participants give mentors a firsthand look at the finance profession’s evolving landscape. Learn from the next generation of leaders and tap into a fresh perspective for smarter strategies that keep companies ahead of the curve
